Ways To Help

Most donations can be tax deductible. Please ask the MARC Staff if you are requesting a Donation Tax Receipt.

Food Bank – We are in need of personal hygiene items, toilet paper, laundry soap, boxed meals, cereals, diapers, and healthy snacks.
We cannot accept refrigerated or frozen donations due to limited storage space.
Food Donations can be accepted anytime during office hours.




Clothing Bank
Drop box for gently used clothing provided- all sizes welcome.
We are in need of gently used undergarments, boys’ clothing sizes 5 thru 16 and girls’ clothing sizes 3T thru 16.
We are always in need of men’s jeans.
Only clean, non-stained, non-ripped clothing is accepted.

10/2014-Current needs: Clothing needs - Children's good used clothing sizes 4 - 18 - especially boys clothing. Clothing without stains and rips is appreciated.

Scrap metal wanted! 
The following items can be used in our scrap metal recycling fund raising efforts: irons, toasters, blenders, aluminum siding, broken bikes, wire hangers, metal lawn furniture, metal silverware, window frames (no glass pleae), tin cans, brass and brass fittings, any type of vehicle, chain link fence, nuts, bolts, screws, keys, pots and pans.

You may drop off scrap metal items any time of the day, any day of the week. For larger items, the scrap metal collection area is located at the end of the drive, on the left hand sid, betwen the large red pole building and the pasture.  All proceeds from scrap metal collection go to provide services to clients of the Martin Area Resource Center. Need more information, call 269.217.8712


Household Furnishings
We accept gently used items such as small kitchen appliances in working condition, kitchen dishes, small household items, and linens for this program. 


Volunteer Help-
Stocking shelves, sorting and hanging clothing, and help with monthly distribution are always greatly needed and appreciated. If you would like to volunteer please stop in or call Amanda.
